History
Hacienda Zorita Natural Reserve wines are recognized with MARCA NATURAL™ official regional certificate issued by the Ministry of Agriculture (sustainable agriculture and area of traditional products). Our winery and vineyards are located in Fermoselle, in the heart of the Arribes del Duero Natural Park. The largest protected natural area in Europe with 106,105 hectares of vineyards and olive trees. Rocky area with a predominance of granitic rock and clayey soils. Although the rainfall in the area is abundant, the terrain is unable to retain it due to the low thickness of the land.
Elaboration
Made from grape varieties from the estate, harvested by hand in 12 kg boxes at their optimum ripeness moment and after selecting the fruits in perfect condition.
The vineyard has drip irrigation with automatic fertilization. With a Smart Dyson driving system, devised by Richar Smart, a leading Australian oenologist who advised on the plantation. A wine made in years of exceptional quality. Aged for 18 months in new medium toasted Allier French oak barrels.
