Elaboration
Made entirely from vines grown on the clayey-limestone soils of the Valdepusa Domain (Malpica del Tajo, Toledo), owned by the family of the Marqués de Griñón since 1292. Manual harvest, followed by destemming and unloading by gravity into storage tanks. fermentation. Prolonged maceration for up to 4 or 5 weeks and aging in new and semi-new French Allier oak barrels, for 20-24 months, in a heated aging cellar.

Cherry red, well covered. On the nose it combines the best of the varieties with the contributions of its upbringing. Very good aromatic intensity, on the palate it is clean, round, elegant and powerful, with an excellent tannic structure; In its finish, well-nuanced fruit contributions dominate ‐ plum jam, berries -, with a long persistence.

It is a wine for aging that will provide pleasure today and for at least the next 10-15 years, if it is transported and stored at the right temperature and humidity. Decant and serve immediately at 15º-17º in large glasses. Ideal for game, roasts, poultry and cured cheeses, etc.
