History
Elaboration
It is moved to new or semi-new 225-litre French oak Bordeaux barrels, where it undergoes malolactic fermentation due to its extraordinary intensity of colour, aroma and flavor as well as its overflowing personality. It continues to be aged for a long time in new 225-litre barrels with slightly higher toasting than normal.
CATA's notes
Intense black-blue color, bright and clean. On the nose it shows aromas of young grapes with tremendous aromatic complexity, which is accompanied by notes of fresh mint and red roses. On the palate its freshness, precision and elegance amaze, exhibiting hints of black fruit, plum, scrubland and spices. It is a meaty and structured wine, but with a very silky mid palate followed by a surprisingly long finish.
