Production Method

Initially kept in vats for a period of 12 months and then transferred to American oak casks to mature for 24 months. Further bottle ageing takes place before release.

Tasting Note

Deep ruby red in colour, showing characteristics from oak ageing. The nose is flooded with creamy vanilla, tobacco, spices and a warming, earthy core of fruit. On the palate there is a real juiciness to this wine – round, full and long.

Roast meats, pastas, tomato dishes, barbeques and game.
